Prospect Heights

The 1960's boom led to the City of Prospect Heights, home to 16,000 people.

Prospect Heights Welcome Sign

Prospect Heights is a community of single-family half-acre homes, multifamily areas, as well as increasing numbers of businesses and centers of economic development. Parks, hotels, restaurants and entertainment options offer visitors multiple options to enjoy this lovely suburban city.

Chicago Executive Airport is the state of Illinois’ third busiest airport and is jointly owned by the City of Prospect Heights and the Village of Wheeling. Like most airports across our nation, Chicago Executive Airport (PWK) was once a modest grass strip created by early aviation enthusiasts. Today, professional and recreational pilots alike appreciate the convenient location and professional atmosphere. Located just outside the congested O'Hare airspace, the airport is within minutes of Chicago's prestigious north shore communities and only a short drive to downtown Chicago.

Hilton Chicago/Northbrook

Prospect Heights is home to two full-service hotels located off of I-294 and its surrounding corporate hub, O’Hare International Airport, Chicago Botanic Garden, Ravinia Festival Six Flags Great America and Rosemont Convention Center and Fashion Outlet Mall.

The Hilton Chicago/Northbrook is known throughout the North Shore as a premier hotel for weddings, meetings, spectacular social events and perfect for weekend escapes. From conferences to weddings and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, the property offers over 17,000 square feet of flexible function space to accommodate up to 1,300 guests. The venue spaces and rooms have been modernized in a recent renovation.

Overlooking a gently flowing, tree-lined river with scenic views in every season, this award-winning restaurant offers American fare with an eclectic flair. The comfortable yet sophisticated atmosphere is accented with beautiful decor, distinctive artwork and soaring vaulted ceilings that complement the culinary creations of the Chef. Known for weekly specials and a spectacular Sunday brunch.

The Crowne Plaza Chicago-Northbrook has one of the only outdoor swimming pools on the North Shore. Newly renovated, the hotel has a 15,000-sq-ft conference center, 24-hour fitness center and complimentary shuttle service.

A host of restaurants welcome hungry patrons with delicious fare. Union Ale House, Monica’s Mexican Restaurant, Players Pub and Grill, Rocky’s American Grill, Nacho’s Pizza, Fry the Coop, Los Posadas Mexican Restaurant, New Canton Chop Suey, Chicago Hot Breads, El Paisa Alegre and Stella’s offer a wide range of cuisines to visit and enjoy a meal and a beverage of our choosing.
