Evanston is also served by Metra, Chicago's premier commuter rail system. The Village of Skokie is located just 16 miles from downtown Chicago, three miles west of Lake Michigan and nine miles northeast of O'Hare International Airport. Glenview is a dynamic community rich in history and offers a wide range of opportunities for working and playing with sophisticated attractions and natural beauty. Centrally located between I-94 (Edens Expressway) and I-294 (Tri-State Tollway), residents have their choice of two Metra train stops, one of which is also serviced by Amtrak .
